Rise of the Dawn or House of Chimaera?

Sadly, to accompany my Halloween Special post made possible by/dedicated to the Princess-Proper-Pants aka the Asafetida Rapscallion aka Awe XD I do not have the very, very overdue WH smuts. But I DO have the very first NEWT COSPLAY pictures!! *grin*

Hem... so, as a few of you may know, my taste in music is a teeny weeny bit peculiar. I'm not exclusive; I like a dabbling of all types of music, however my favourite genre is instrumentals. Er... Instrumental Soundtracks, that is. :D They're wonderful for writing (ie if I'm writing a fight scene... then I can listen to fight scene musics ♥) and I've got lots and lots and lots of them.

Anyway. Yesterday, because I have the best Best Friend in the whooole world, I went to hear the symphonic orchestra, as they were putting on a Happy 75th Birthday John Williams Tribute. ♥♥♥ If you don't know, John Williams is the composer for such movies as: Harry Potter, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman, Jaws, Jurassic Park... well the list goes on and on (he has composed 90+ movie soundtracks. And that's only movies!)  

So... I thought I should share the treasures with you because I... have most of the songs ^^;; and it's such lovely music.

But sadly, no writing offerings yet. I'm working on it, though... -___-;; 

Due to popular demand, I give you: 

The weirdest thing just happened to me. I went to type King, and Ikeda came out instead. Like... it felt as if my fingers were in the right place, but I was halfway through Ikeda before I glanced up. Now if that isn't subliminal messaging attempting to tell me I'm spending my time writing the wrong story, then I don't know what is. 

But alas, too bad. I've spent the entire week angsting over RotD (I am much more content now. And Nekobandit? I think status quo shall remain for at least a while longer. Or until I have another indecisive fit. But thank you for putting up with me. I ♥ you forever).

And... I am a horrible person. This is so extremely overdue. I intended to gift it tochibisangeln for her birthday. It was on July 10th. *dies* I fail at life in a big way, I know. But... here it is at last, and it's for you, Chibi my dear. I adore you always, and I hope you like it, and that it's not too awful, as you deserve better. ♥ ♥ ♥

And because Awe has informed me (rather caustically, I might add) that the definition of a drabble is a smattering of words numbering in the hundreds, not thousands category, I shall no longer be referring to WH as a drabble. Because at 28,000+ I guess it really isn't. (Even though I think that it qualifies as a drabble in terms of comparison... at least as an "Inky Drabble" perhaps).  But anyway, it has now earned the status of "Story." Even though it seems very unstory-like to me. And also, apparently, I am not allowed to call it a crackfic anymore. Even though it seems very crackfic to me. Awe (aka Saaski) is a Princess Propper Pants. Please bother her.  ♥

Perhaps I shall call it a bunnyfic! from now on. To both indicate its pure plot-bunny origins, and also the presence of smut (eventually). Except then no one would know what the hell I'm talking about.

The Witching Hour

Wherein there is a very rambly, nearly incoherent dialogue accompanied by a conspicuous lack of smut. And then there is Part 6.

It's sweltering hot and I've had the most insane week. I'm working a ridiculous amount of hours. Very ridiculous. I don't even have 8 hours between shifts. I suppose I should be happy about all the money-making that's going on but I'm just tired (and very cranky). No doubt at some point this week I'm going to lose it and some princess-customer is going to be very Inconvienced. Saturday was the most ridiculous by far. There was a black out for an hour and a half, yet we were still open. Seriously, people kept coming in... and they were retarded. Example:

Clueless woman: "Um, yes, I'd like a skim latte, please." 

Yours truly: "The power's out."

Clueless woman: *looks around* "Really? I guess that's why the lights are off?"

Yours truly: "Yes, that would be why."


Anyway, that's about enough complaining for now. The real reason I'm here is because...
